This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Available only to Wall Hangers currently. This is a very nice farm being offered for lease in Joe Daviess County. The property sits on a road that has minimal traffic. In fact, I don't believe I saw one car pass through while I was there walking the property with the landowner. The farm is made up of timber, row crops, alfalfa, water, and pasture ground. The landowner has had great lessees and wonderful relationship with them for the past seven years. The previous lessee has now purchased his own farm. The landowner is looking to foster that same type of relationship with the new lessee(s). He does not allow any archery hunting at all; I've already spoken to him about this. There will be around 10 to 12 head of cattle of the farm from 1 May though the end of October and he simply does not want any hunting during that time, as it's worked out for both him and the previous lessee. As you will see in the photos, there are plenty of places to hang a stand. The east side of the farm has row crops planted and the west side has alfalfa planted along the border, and adjoining the alfalfa are row crops, which is one adjoining landowner. There is a nice year-round stream that runs through the property, providing water for not only the deer but all wildlife. Again, the landowner is a super nice guy and is looking to build a long-term relationship with the new lessee(s).

*Must notify landowner prior to accessing the property - his home is onsite
*Lease runs from 1 Nov - 30 April to cover the above seasons
*Cattle will only be on the farm from 1 May -30 October
*ATV use permitted for hunting purposes only - no joy riding
